RNLI

Serious questions - are immigrants housed near where you live, and do you have any daughters?
I understand that ellal only has 3 super intelligent sons - all doctors apparently. They are so clever they don’t even want to live and work in the same country as their parents.

The RNLI will frequently tow a vessel in difficulty who does not have SeaStart or similar. They do not charge for this.
If that is the most effective method of rescue, why not, They're still making a rescue.
Like the AA, if they feel the best method of recuing a stranded motorist is to tow, then why not?

Yes - the skipper should be prosecuted it acts as a deterrent.
You prefer the boats steering was lashed on a heading, with no-one at the helm?

BorderForce incercept 90+% was it? They seem to do fine
But you don't want RLNI to assist for the 5% of rescues that they complete?
And you agree that RNLI should be defunded because of the 5% of asylum seeker rescues thy complete?

If you bother reading my reply in post 278 you'll see I clarified.
It was to that reply that I questioned again because your comment was still obscure.

it is the coastguard who coordinates.
So?

Of course they can
At greater risk than to let them continue.
Who would intentionally create a greater risk at sea?

so they can't be intercepted because its too dangerous but they can be rescued because it isn't.
To not rescue them when they are in need of rescue would be to wilfully endanger them further.

have a wild guess
It's why I asked you. There is no such definition to cover your use of the term.

Breaking news;

The RNLI boats are now equipped with surface to surface missiles to use on any dinghy coming from France.....

At the typical cost of such missiles, they'll be lucky to afford rowing boats to mount their missiles.

Oh but you did say this.
"Correct…..
Tidal currents profoundly affect small boat crossings in the English Channel."
In corroboration of an earlier post I made....

Depends what other conditions they are combined with.
Tidal currents can be favourable or unfavourable so yes, it can make a difference.

You're not very good at this are you boyo.

BorderForce incercept 90+% was it? They seem to do fine

But that small percentage carried out by the RNLI justifies penalising them financially, thus impacting all their SAR work, does it?

And subjecting their crews to personal abuse?

But that small percentage carried out by the RNLI justifies penalising them financially
'Perceived penalising'

What the dumbos don't realise (actually they may do now) is that each time they whinge about the RNLI, and chuck their toys out, scream taxi service - the donations go up.

Keep it up boyos.
