What have you been doing today?

Mowed the green at the top of our estate - took ages and I clocked up over 5000 steps on that alone. Then, a late evening dash to the allotment to chuck some water about as I haven’t been there for a couple of days. More bloody courgettes, I’m sick of 'em and the main people that used to have them off me last year don't want them this year as I foolishly gave them all a couple of plants each and now they are overrun with them themselves! Picked them though and left them on my front wall for neighbours to take. Coming up in a few months will be a glut of pumpkins and butternut squash!

Got the grandkids staying while our son and his wife have gone away for the weekend. Been to a country park and then they gave me a hand at the allotment harvesting some veg for dinner tonight and tomorrow. New potatoes, French beans, cucumber, beetroot and corn. We then went on my brother in laws plot and helped ourself to his raspberries. House is like a tip, Mrs Mottie is up trying to get the youngest to go to sleep, the 7 year old reckons he’s staying up to watch England tonight but I reckon he’ll drop off way before then and will have to be carried up the wooden stairs to Bedfordshire. Bloody knackering.

Watching the rugby.

If we win, my 11 year old inner child wants some England rugby supporters to fly past the stadium with a banner that says,

"Las Malvinas son Inglesas!"

He went up when it was 1-0. We’ve got the baby in with us. Trouble is, she has one of those bloody white noise machines that keeps me awake. I’m off to bed now - at 4-1 we should win this one even if agent Touchel chucks 5 on in defence again!

No. That’s stay out of the black and into the red. Bullseye.
Sorry, thats my Dyslexia.

I confuse things this like American Werewolf in London with Bulls eye.

Same with the Crossroads motel with Hill street blues

Grandkids have not long gone home and we have just tidied up the house. The younger one is like the Duracell bunny - she just does not stop. We are both physically and mentally drained. I feel an early night coming on…….

I’m fuming. I’m fecking fuming! Sold our mums house on Friday and I left it in pretty good nick even if I say so myself. I fitted new lights in the bedrooms, new carpets and curtains in the bedrooms, painted the whole house inside and out and offered the first-time buyers everything you see in these photos including an electric reclining leather sofa and chair. Everything except the TV, PC and DAB radio and I also offered the them the washing machine and fridge in the kitchen, all free of charge. Nothing was formally included in the sale, just that when contracts were exchanged, I asked the estate agent to take them back round there and tell me what they would like left. They accepted the lot. Absolutely everything. I even paid to get the boiler serviced.

In the shed, I left them a bench and the remaining pots of paint that were used on the house.

This morning, they’ve been on to their solicitor and the estate agent who have contacted my solicitor who has contacted me telling them they want me to remove those items. I’ve phoned up the estate agent and told them to tell the buyers that if I have to come back to the property to collect and dispose of the bench and paint, I’ll be collecting the furniture too. If that happens I’ll smash the lot up in front of them. Dunno what my legal position is and I don’t care. I’m fuming. Fuming I tell ya!
