The other bit that is in question is how much is royal patronage really worth?How much do they fundraise for the RNLI? Or was it like your efforts?
Seems a bit less generous to "support" a charity, with money they paid you in ground rent.
Do people actually give more money to a charity that has 'royal' in it's name than they would have done without that reference?
Or is it the cause that interests people?
