How much do they fundraise for the RNLI? Or was it like your efforts?

Seems a bit less generous to "support" a charity, with money they paid you in ground rent.
The other bit that is in question is how much is royal patronage really worth?

Do people actually give more money to a charity that has 'royal' in it's name than they would have done without that reference?

Or is it the cause that interests people?

It's more to with their reach. Better to have them than not.

I'm just glad thy have their support and the support of millions of others.

Did you know their donations spike when the likes of RWR miser f-boi and RWR miser MBK flounce-announce their recinding of their (50p per year) donations?

Being a Royal blah blah in the boating world is hugely important to a certain demographic. These are the folk you see in light trousers and blazers, with wives wearing blue and white "yachting" stripes - strutting about at Cowes week. It gives them the right to fly a blue duster rather than a red one. Apart from the ferry to get there, they haven't been on a boat in decades.

So they take money from tax payer funded departments in order to 'make a profit' and are exempt from most taxes like CGT and Corporation Tax...

Yet still claim to be run on a commercial basis...
Yes, like most charities. The charity I worked for had to be run on a commercial basis to self-fund. Paid no taxes either.

£277 MILIION. Phew!

Looks like yours and f-boi's donations didn't account for much, but your flounce-announce protests did.

Keep it up boyos.
It went up by £277 million. Wow. Someone better tell them. Their books show net decline.
