Keybox that's actually secure?

I’d imagine any key box that not set flush in the wall could be knocked off the wall with a hammer.

If you're smashing around with a big hammer you could just use it on the door, most are woefully insecure

My sister lives in one of those expensive gated communities, a free runner/parkour broke in through a neighbour's first floor window. The home owners were downstairs at the time.

True, but there have been cases recently where professional toe rags have used WiFi jammers to knock the ring doorbell offline.

With regards to your average crackhead, the doorbell is enough to discourage them.

Fair play, I have seen footage of guys walking up the house and then the ring going dark. It is relatively rare though.

In the olden days you needed a orinoco gold wifi card in laptop (running linux) to flood the wifi network. I guess you can now purchase a dedicated device to do something similar.

Again, it is not common place, but it can happen.

Many have a video doorbell (as other makes than Ring are available)but not most.

Many years ago, despite them trying to rip my back door to sheds, some scumbags just went around the front and kicked the front door in.
A very common method.
IF you have glass panes in the window the nearest brick or garden tool will be used to remove them so access can be obtained.
These keyboxes are a semi secure method of making a key available to others that know the code.

They are ALL simple enough to break into if you know how, instructions are on Youtube.
Your probably more secure hiding a key under a flower pot that unlocks another lock that unlocks another lock (all in different locations) that gives final access to the key.
Security only keeps out the honest person, the dishonest person WILL gain access when they want.

In the past, I have recommended that people hide keys in places several metres from their home. If someone finds the key, they will have no idea which property it belongs to. The/a downside is that you may need to hide more than key just incase a gardener/etc finds it and bins it.

Years ago my mum had a magnetic box which held her car key under the car. I was 17, I was dating a danish au pair. She never noticed the stains on the back seats...

I think the easiest way past it would be a prybar, which could do a lot of damage even if not successful
