I read the instructions, and looked at website, and my thoughts were why, how does it help?
I have cheap Lidi changes, under £20 each

one 3.8 amp the other 5 amp, and they auto turn off once the battery is charged (14.4 volts) and on again as it self-discharges (12.8 volts) so I simply move battery to battery, to keep them in good condition.
If an alarm sounds, that is discharging the battery more, it seems something which time has passed it by.
Like my old battery chargers, I can now get a socket adaptor which when the current drops to a pre-set valve, it will start a timer and then switch off, but they are £10 each, and battery chargers have dropped in price, so to add the socket adaptor to an old charger will mean the charger switches off once charged, but using a modern charger means it will also turn back on when it self discharges, so what is the point.
OK if I have a socket adaptor spare then may use it with an old charger, but would not buy it to do that with.
