This thread is about recycling and not about moderator's actions. Please re-acquaint yourself with Forum rule 3b.
Okay, let's have a legitimate discussion about the recent actions of certain moderators so that they don't fall foul of Forum Rule 3.

I'm sure the offenders will find some other technicality by which to lock this but ... Ho Hum.

I see the forum rules where last amended on the 17th Oct 2007. Any chance the new information can be highlighted in red so we know what rule has been added or changed? Obviously when a newer rule is added then the last amendment can return to its usual colour. Just so we can see what rules you are sneaking in and when they occured. ;)

or you could just get a life and stop bleating about it all

The biggest threat to this site is draconian moderation. If the regulars get fed up and go elsewhere then there will be no-one to answer the punter's questions. No punter - no site. Simple as that.

still see plenty of people on here offering advice, just keep seeing the same 4 or 5 people bleating on about the same things like kids in the schollyard. bit pathetic really

The biggest threat to this site is idiots who are always arguing, causing offence, and whining If the regulars get fed up with these wearisome nuisances and go elsewhere then there will be no-one to answer the punter's questions. No punter - no site. Simple as that.

A seperate section for general bickering and abuse sounds like a good idea. I've even got the heading for it,"Is This the right room for an argument?". If it could be set up where you had to ask to join or request a password then you couldn't exactly complain about the content, or is that a bit too adult for certain people to grasp? No moderation, Forum cage fighting. Bring it on. Bagsy holding the spit bucket.

Schollyard??? Do they have to wear special shoes to play there?

and maybe we could expel the bad-tempered folk to this sin-bin?

It was THIS post with a few words changed.

Better delete that one too?

you mean like this regular whose fed up to the back teeth, together with i suspect, many others, of the little band that bleat and whine on. Insult each other, belittle others and then run around littering the board with re-runs of their threads and moan about delted or locked posts.

Not constructive Joe.

Stop being so abrasive please and post politely and helpful to the thread.

I referred to "idiots who are always arguing, causing offence, and whining"

step forward the first person who considers themselves to be insulted

Why are you referring to fellow forum members as 'idiots'?

Is an idiot someone who holds a different opinion to your own?

Anyone that thinks nuclear is risky is just being 'argumentative?

Anyone that thinks we don't need further immigration is being 'argumentative?

I guess we should just have one political party then (as long as it supports the views of JohnD and Meggawatt)? Otherwise it will be deemed 'argumentative.

The mods actions show bias towards certain posters (who are also mods).

Calling forum members 'idiots' is not acceptable and such posts should be removed.

Why have you not removed it?
