only thing i am unhappy about is the different level positions on the rcbos to the mcbs.

i have also lost the stickers that came with the consumer unit - if anyone has any spare i'd be willing send them some money for some.

Why the lack of saddles? (Holding the conduit to the wall)
Similar with the SWA, no cleats.
The MCB looks to be a newer model, apart from you not liking the height of it there isn't anything wrong with it.
What size SWA?

The SWA is 6.00mm^2 fed from a 32a breaker in the house.

There is saddles every 1.5m along the conduit that has runs greater than 1.5m.

rjuk, perhaps next time you wont post any pictures

but i have to agree with absence of saddles, for one thing it doesnt look right

agree, you need more saddles, its going to go all wibbly wobbly in the colder weather.

another thing i noticed is,you havent bent the 90 degree bends coming out of the tee box and cu properly, nearly there but you just bent them into place with the tube on the wall.giveaway sign is the curve on the straight run after the bends.

i wouldnt have spotted that if you used more saddles,so next time, use more saddles

Did you have a large split load hanging around to use up, by any chance?

I never use those stickers with the board - just neatly hand write...

Don't forget yout rcd test label and blanks when you pop the front of the board on...

SB

oh and another thing, the pipe coming out of the tee box down to the cu has been cut to short on the drop, which is why the bit coming out of the tee box wont pass the gobstopper test.did you glue the joints?

ive got to stop drinking stella straight after work

As has been said, I hope you glued the joints - it wont take much downwards pressure on this conduit to pull it out of the CU:

More saddles required!!

Am I the only one not happy about the power circuit passing through the light switch box?

no.

I dont think it is a big issue to be honest. It is more of a rule of thumb than anything.

Certainly needs more saddles though! The regs have 'maximum spacings' for cables and conduit, but these are maximums! Imagine clipping cables to the maximum spacings - The would look awful! I tend to place sadles every 300-400mm.

I would have prefered to have seen metal clad accessories too. And female conduit adaptors.
