The only clinically promising drugs I have seen are Ramapril & Losartan, other than that making sure you have plenty of Vitamin C, D and zinc seem to be the only things you could "take". Bizarrely suffering from a common cold recently seems to offer protection but probably the best way of protecting yourself would be to avoid socializing.
Obviously there was a student contingent that want to spread Covid and deliberate "Covid" parties were had by many, but, if new figures are to be believed, their ill gotten attempt at herd immunity was Ill fated now that the spread is trickling down to older people and hospital admissions are rising quickly. I guess the game changer will be within the next week or two if the death rate shoots up.
I'm sure the social aspects of countries play a very big part in the actual spread and although lockdowns undoubtedly work, they are somewhat devastating to economies and deaths caused by poor access to health services shut down because Covid was deemed more important.
