I have no idea what he's thinking, I was only stating the facts.
 
Even if eligibly to join the EU it would take Spain to completely forget about Catalonia and their push for independence. Does anybody really think that Spain will allow a region having gone independent then join the EU. What planet are these people on?

what he needs to say is he will never allow another Indy ref

that should do the trick and help out the SNP to gain more votes / support
And lead to a majority for independance

We have elections all the time, and in none of them does everybody get what they want.

Which elections would you stop having?
 
As an Englishman I would vote to give Scotland independence. Let them know what wee jimmy krankie is really like. Let them have a hard border, no HM Forces bases, no submarine base, manage their own debt, no access to sterling. It would take years to resolve and make brexit look like the teddy bears picnic.
