What are you having for lunch?

Dropped the DiL's car back to their house in Chelmsford and went for a walk from there to Oaklands park. Popped into the Hive café for a bit of lunch. I had chicken and bacon pasta, Mrs Mottie had curry of the day with a baked potato. Very nice.
 
Home made soup with home grown butternut squash from the plot of Mott and freshly baked bread. Would have been even better if I’d remembered to tighten up the bottom of the blender jug before lifting it up!

Talking of Soup this is my regular goto when in the UK with granary or sourdough bread. Hard to beat!
 
Toast sandwich from a home made 50/ 50 loaf with crunchy PB and Marmite.

Gorgeous!
