Laziness

Good old Daily Mail trope.

Well done, aren’t you clever

By the way the lazy people in this country are the asset rich like property developers, landlords, all they have to do is collect rent off people working 12 hour days.
that wasnt the meaning of lazy people, that is business people paying taxes and not getting hand outs so not sure you fully understand the meaning of lazy (wont work)

The point is this:

I'm sure employers cannot wait to have people forced onto them.

If you think some people do carp work now, just you wait until your scheme is implemented.
I dont think picking litter and sweeping pavements fall into the skilled labour category
Maybe not, but it's still possible to do it badly.
Of course it is, but you're missing the point

If you force people to do a job, even if it isn't a skilled one, don't be surprised if they aren't motivated to do it well.

It is called community service, it is not a paid job. It would motivate them to apply for jobs by being unmotivated.

I hate Evri (not the drivers) with a vengeance.
I used to deal a lot at work with deliveries and would always offer water and or use of the loo if a driver came.
We ordered tons of stuff that relied on couriers and a mate used to drive for a company yonks ago.

The drivers are on a ridiculous schedule and end up peeing in bottles to get a job done.
Most aren’t lazy, they work their arses off.

Laziness is not attending any constituency surgeries or visiting the town

Oh so the people who millions of pounds from bogus PPE contracts are really hard working people?

What did they do for their money?

Or Tory MPs like Owen Paterson, he got £500,000 from Randox for simply persuading govt to give them big contracts. That’s £500k of effectively taxpayers money for doing nothing. Did he work hard for his £500k?

I used have a business next door to a Hermes local hub, gig economy workers delivered the stuff in their cars, they only got paid something like £0.45p a parcel, they used cram loads of parcels in a small car and off they went, by the time you take petrol etc they didn’t earn much.

Most of the Amazon and other couriers I get deliveries from are foreign workers…probably because the work is so sh1t nobody else would do it.

I fully appreciate peoples concerns of immigration being too high, but if they want British citizens to do these jobs the working conditions and pay need to improve.

Dont play with Notch.. he asks the most ridiculous Questions.

He cant be real.
You asked how much lazy people are costing the country.

I asked you the percentage.

Unless you know the percentage, you aren’t going to find the answer.

I guess you don’t want the answer you just want to hate on people getting benefits.

Oh so you mean people on benefits:

Like people that can’t work because they are on an NHS waiting list
Or people with a disability
Or people with a terminal illness
Or people with a progressive disease
Or a woman escaping domestic violence
Or a person that had a bad work injury and can’t work
Or a person that serious mental health issue like PTSD
Or a person that is a carer for a relative

I guess you mean those lazy people

No I mean the ones who wont work or make excuses for not working, you are giving examples of people that I would not consider as lazy people. Typical of you to completely mis understand.
