So those arriving by small boat are not illegal immigrants, never were, until and unless they arrive in UK and don't claim asylum.illegalswe got there. Someone who has no right to enter or remain, but do so anyway.
All you had to do was to accept that tides are not the only factor affecting crossings. There is nothing straw man about correcting you and Nosenout that tides make no difference to the number of illegals who arrive each year and neither do they affect the steering of a boat crossing Calais to Dover.
You’ve jumped about and dragged in half the internet when all you had to do is say - yep fair point, tides are irrelevant.

They aren’t a factor at all which is what I’ve being trying to get you to understand. So those arriving by small boat are not illegal immigrants, never were, until and unless they arrive in UK and don't claim asylum.
So why do you keep calling them illegal immigrants when they're not in UK?
Those that do claim asylum are therfore asylum seekers not illegal immigrants.
So why do you keep calling asylum seekers in UK illegal immigrants when they have the right to be here?
All you had to do was to accept that tides are not the only factor affecting crossings.
Don't bother inviting me on your boat for a channel crossing. I prefer a sailor with a wider knowledge of such things.

Since none of them have a right to be in France and none of them have completed the necessary paperwork to enter the UK and all have the intention of staying when they arrive - they are illegal immigrants. Their method of entry is illegal, hence the term "illegals".
