    no hot water without CH being on

    Easiboost dual shower pump

    leading on from myhot water topic, my shower pump is now leaking from the shaft seal, is it probable that the very hot water has contributed to cavitation and the breakdown of the ceramic shaft seals? Any ideas as to the ideal water temp whe using this type of pump ( Purple type)

    dangerously hot water

    can anyone help? The hot water from the cylinder is suddenly got very very hot!! I checked the stat on the side of the tank, it was set between 55-60 degrees. i have changed it today for a new one and it has made no difference. any help would be appreciated :( MOD moved to plumbing
