    Quote for FSG reasonable ?

No it’s not. Just spoke to installer who said he will be doing black Ogee guttering and downpipes with white fascia and soffits. We did see white rainwater goods on another house but although they look good they show dirt like green moss more and need more maintenance so we have stuck with BLACK.

    Quote for FSG reasonable ?

We liked the white guttering. Some houses opposite have white fascias. We thought it would look odd having black pipes and white guttering so decided on white with white. Or should we go for black gutters and pipes with white fascia and soffits ?

I mean i have never painted external before just wood/metal. The blocks seem to be leaving small holes or gaps where paint does not reach until you go over it...

    CO alarm regs landlords.

Can someone clarify if you need a CO alarm for boiler or not. I know you need one for a open coal:wood fire and it's recommended for gas fire but do you need to have one for boiler or is it recommend/optional.

    Homeserve boiler problems.

If only you had replied earlier ... I have bought Main. 2 years more warranty and £70 cheaper wasn't meant to be. I don't expect problems with Main but don't like the fact you have to pay a refundable deposit every time you call them out. How much is that ??
