People go on and on about how the innocent victims should all be remembered, but what about all the poor guilty bstrds?
No one gives a fck about them.

If only we'd housed them in council homes and given them free plasma TV's then perhaps they would have got to like themselves a bit more and not do those naughty things. We only have ourselves to blame

The people of America say never forget the victims, i'm just stating that they should not forget the INNOCENT victims at their hands thats all.

You are missing the point. Innocent people die all the time, it's unfortunate. Mugabe and their like have killed innocent people - mainly their own. The West wasn't involved. You appear to want to blame the West for all the killings in Iraq, Afghan etc, yet you fail to realise that their people have been subjected to mass murder for years.
I for one would withdraw our troops tomorrow and let them get on with it.
It would save pointless murders of our heroes and permit the indigenous population to come to terms with their lot. Afterall, if these countries were so good, why do many of them want to live over here?

You made the comparison, not me. I pointed out that there are innocent victims elsewhere, people say they should never forget the victims of 9/11, well the same applies to the innocent victims at the hand of the western military.

And as I said earlier, we therefore shouldn't forget ALL INNOCENT VICTIMS from all of history and across the planet. To isolate a particular "batch" (for want of a better word ) of victims for political purposes is bad enough, but to begin to bander another "batch" as though it's some little game of morality tennis is vile gamesmanship.

I'm not missing the point. I agree innocent people die all over the world every day for a number of reasons. I was commenting on the thread subject of 9/11 and the comments made about we should never forget the victims of 9/11.

I realise people are murdered all over the world by evil dictators. No where in my comments have I mentioned, or even put blame on the West for them actions (Mugabe, Gaddafi etc)

Here's one estimate. And here's another They seem to suggest a significantly large number - perhaps you'd like to make an effort of quantifying a counterclaim by a link to a source stating an estimate for the number of innocent civilians killed due to western intervention?
