The correct length for steel conduit is 3.75m - not 3m lengths.I might actually opt for metal conduit, has a better look to it.
The CEF one states it is pre galvanised. Presumably this means there is some chance it will rust due to air moisture.

Well one of them would be considered by the industry to be ridiculous selling DIY lengths of steel conduit then.I use two wholesalers. One supplies steel tube in 3m lengths. The other supplies 3.75m lengths.
