Night before Xmas.
More like Groundhog Day.
Nothing new to actually update then apart from continuing the pantomime or did I imagine reading all this new info already?

So BG wouldn't talk to Vaillant until ............BritGas installed a ‘suppressor’ inside the boiler (original part from Vaillant) on New Year’s Eve..and fingers crossed it has been working fine ever since. I don’t feel comfortable opening the boiler casing otherwise I would have posted a pic of what was fitted.
So BG wouldn't talk to Vaillant until ...............Allegedly. Shame Agile doesn't post here, he would know how much £..p a generic suppressor costs.

Without a heating and hot water demand get them to check the voltage on the boiler switched Live terminal....it may be a problem with induced voltage being sufficient to turn on the boiler even without the motorised valves switching.
