Renovating a room to get access to a cupboard. Cutting out the plasterbaord on the stud wall to get access to the cupboard (blocking up the order side)
Issue is the metal stud used appears to be 37mm and i need to brace the exposed plasterboad and cavity once i complete the cutting out. Looks like (as i suseced) 37mm metal stud isnt a thing anymore. So looking to use timber to box out the opening.
Thanks
Anyone see any issues with this?
