Accenta G3 alarm won't stop when power-cut

Hi,

We've had some power cuts recently and each time it happens my Accenta G3 alarm system siren goes off and will not stop. I've tried putting in all the codes I have but the siren keeps on going until the power is restored and then I can put in the code.

What I would like is for the alarm system to ignore if there is a power-cut. Is this possible? Or at least some way to turn the alarm off if we do get a power cut again.

I've downloaded the fitting instructions and it doesn't seem to give any clues. Is this linked to the tamper setting?

The problem is your systems back up battery has failed and you need a new one.
