Hi there
I want to tile an unused victorian fireplace hearth and would like the tiles to be flush with wooden floorboards.
I've found 10mm thick tiles I like but they sit only 1-2 mm below the floorboards without adhesive.
What adhesive thickness would be ideal for this scenario? Would 1-2 mm adhesive be enough?
Also, the tiles I have in mind are 45cm x 45 cm which. Is it easier to tile with smaller tiles or doesn't it make any difference?
Thanks
