Hello all,

Looking for a smart idea to fix a 2-gang lead to a garage wall.
No screw holes on reverse.

Too little room between the outlets, to run a strap between (that I could then screw to the wall).

Before I take the backplate off, screw that to the wall, then reattach it to the body, any genius / inspired ideas?

Gripfill.

Make two keyholes in the backplate so it can be removed.

Why not fit a proper socket (plus patress)?

Then you'll still have an extension lead.

Don't like messing with fixed electrics.

Don't mind changing existing (new faceplate, etc), but full new.....

A bit of builders strap cut and bent to form 2 little brackets with a bent over bit at top to grip socket…..not terribly clever though

if it was me I’d just buy another socket with keyholes in the back…seems easiest solution to me.

It was the only 5m 2-gang that I could find, unfortunately
