Part of Afghanistan should be occupied so that that particular part is safe for the non-Taliban normal Afghan citizens. The Taliban can have the rest of the country and smoke opium there.

The Afghans are not a homogeneous people.
This new Afghan government will have to take that into account.
If they don't there will be conflict.

Yes, Pakistan is a Muslim country. They are so Muslim that they killed 3 million Muslims and dumped the bodies in mass graves and repeatedly raped 400,000 women in Bangladesh. That Hindu country you mention came to the rescue and allowed refugees from Bangladesh at it's border. That Hindu country trained Bangladeshi farmers to fight the Pakistani army. That same Hindu country's army parachuted down in a single night and liberated Bangladesh.

East Pakistan and West Pakistan were devoutly Muslim but it didn't stop a war of independence by Bangladeshi nationalists breaking out.
By your logic Bangladesh should never have got its independence.
