aldi workzone belt sander

Aldi have the above belt sander for £30. is it any good to sand good wood , im hoping to make a pine bed but also sand pallet wood? i would take a guess the decent wood is gonna be easy on it the used wood maybe a little harder on the sander.

worth a buy or buy something else?

That belt sander looks a bit like a planer.

Mind you their 'planer' looks a bit like a belt sander!

Aldi and lidl tools are quite good for the money.

I had an earlier aldi belt sander and it was lent out and not returned, and it got a fair bit of use. I now have a lidl replacement and that has lasted well too.
 
You can get an Energer belt sander from Screwfix for the same money - it may be cheap but it does have a years guarantee and Screwfix are very good about returns.
