I tried on another thread, to find a way to run cable to a re-sited pyrolitic oven.
The problem is that there is a large area of laminate and chipboard flooring that would have to be lifted to do this.
I have found what I am hopeful is an alternative solution to all this disruption and possible damage to the flooring, but need advice as to whether it is appropriate.
Electrolux state that the 3.5 kw oven requires a 16 amp fused supply.
The gas boiler, including pump and 2 valves has its own radial supply and 16 amp fuse in the C.U. It is a sealed/pressurised gas boiler system with a hot water tank.
Am I correct in assuming that the gas boiler could be supplied from a fused spur taken off the 13amp kitchen ring, and the accessable 16 amp radial supply re-directed to the oven?
Alternatively, could the spur for the combi boiler be taken off the supply to the immersion tank, which is also fused at 16 amps.? The electric immersion is back up heating to the gas system, it has never been used, but I expect we need to keep this back up system/
