No longer can they be smoked in a public place.

Aww c'mon that's a bit misleading is it not...if I was to say nudity is banned in the uk what would that infer? Anyway, IMHO the whole e-cigs thing is based around money. If people can vape inside a pub, they'll do it. Maybe from the govt point of view if they ban it then hopefully there'll be no point being a vaper so they'll buy cigarettes again. Ker-ching in their tills once more. And remember the whole ban on smoking thing was for passive smoking in the first place, not to do with seeing people smoke.
