Anyone Stupid enough?..............

Martian, your only contribution on the other hand is your usual moan.

...and just so that wasn't my only contribution......I went into a dominoes once and ordered a small peperoni. I was shocked at the price, the lad said it would be about ten minutes. I offered to pay but he said leave it until the pizza was ready. While waiting I noticed a co op over the road, went in there and bought one twice the size for less than half the price.

and then carried it home and had to wait for the oven to heat up and then tried to cook it...

Yeah that was really hard, taking the cellophane off and sticking it in the oven for twenty minutes.

One thing that we used to do years ago was to go to pizzahut just before closing. They used to have a few pre-prepared pizzas (so much for "made to order" ) which they couldn't keep overnight since these had to be knocked up fresh each day, and were happy to let us have for a fraction of the menu-price.

I would rather cook it myself in 15 mins, than pay Dominoes over a tenner for the privilage!

geraint's got more more money than sense...............

not that he's loaded, he's just got no sense.

as for dominos, i've never had one in my life... although i do prefer take-away pizzas to frozen shop bought ones.... they taste much better...

Moving along a bit. Two weeks ago we ordered a Chinese takeaway in London to celebrate my niece's A' level results and her forthcoming study at Bristol.
Came to about £50 and was a pretty close semblance of the sort of size and quality meal we get up here from our local Chinese for £25. It's one heck of a disparity in price for pretty much the same thing - the main difference was that up here a main course is priced with the rice included, whereas in London you have to pay for the main course and rice separately, in effect costing paying double for the same dish.

How many were you....

I would expect to pay about £30 to £40 per head, and thats not including any beers or wine... And not in London either....

What world do you live in....

Next you will be saying that you can take your wife out for a curry and expect change from £20
