Are any tradesmen still working?

Most of my work tends to be indoors so locking down, managed to get materials for some sizeable projects I've wanted to do at home for the last couple of years so plenty to do.
Might do a few little outdoor jobs for people in the next few weeks although I'm starting to enjoy working at home, a lot less stress.

theres an awful lot of DIY going on around my village.

I see a guy about 10 doors down -he has a old ford like an early cortina or something and a TR7 -he has been working on them full time over the last week. Before that I hadnt seen him do anything for years.

I think this period is seeing a lot of people getting with their round tuits

A lot of cars round by me are getting the most TLC I have ever seen them get - in fact that reminds me - mine needs a wash :)

Decorating inside from top to bottom but preferring it when I get out in the garden.
All those 'little things' you say you will get round to are getting got round to at last!

Me and my missus are still working.

Downstairs toilet drain, poor quality fitting opened up and made a mess of the subfloor

Kinell! I'm trying to visualise why there is nothing at the other end of that pipe preventing it from travelling enough distance (55mm or so) to leave that fitting...?

**** knows. Just out of shot it turned right 90deg then had a couple of boss connections so I can’t see how it pulled that far out unless they moved the toilet and just dragged the bend across a few inches.

Another day around Northumberland and Tyne & Wear doing gas safety checks for tenants.
