My own helmet is getting on a bit, and it is rated at DIN shades 9 to 13, which seems conventional. It originally came from the Welders Warehouse.
However.....its just too dark now, even on setting 9. I just can't see the MIG torch before the strike. However, once struck, its reaction is good.
I'm wondering.....is it just past it, or is it worth checking to see if there is an internal battery?
If anyone has any comments or experiences, do share them!
