Is anyone sourcing parts from Autodoc? ............ if so, happy with the service?

I placed an order about 6 years ago which took 12 days delivery and part of the order, some brake discs, were a different brand which AD claimed were sent because what I'd ordered were out of stock and those sent were higher value.

I like how AD have all the brands under one roof, just curious how reliable these days.

I'm souring front shocks and strut mounts for a TRoc. Bilstein make the shocks but not the mounts.

I've used Autodoc before, when a particular oil filter I needed wasn't available in the UK for some reason.
Delivery took just over a week, which wasn't a problem but now I can get anything I need from my local factors. The real chore is sending them back to Autodoc if it's not what you want - don't believe all they claim about their stocks either!
Regarding the TRoc, maybe the dealer mounting wouldn't be too pricey?
John :)

I ordered from autodoc before when I knew exactly what I needed and was not in a rush.
Just a matter of price.
Anything that can be confusing I buy from local so if not correct part I can take it back.

Two of the local factors have been taken over by nationals and they tend to stock a lot of budget. NAPA is certainly popular, albeit a lot of it seems to be 3rd party sourced.

The automotive after market is certainly a minefield
