Can't believe it...How could they?

It breaks my heart to think that some couples would donate body parts to be able to have a baby and others do this...

They should NEVER be released.

it was on the web saying that baby p's mum has had another baby?

A few months ago I put up a post about whether in horrendous crimes, such as this, there should be a pretrial to decide if the crime was inhuman. If the court found it to be an inhuman crime there was only one option - solitary confinement forever. Sure they can appeal if they have grounds for one, but other wise that is it. No contact whatsoever with another human for ever.

This case warrants that as did the lockerbie bombing, that bloke now wants out because he has cancer - let the b****** rot.

It is so sad that someone could do this to a defensless baby. I really takes superhuman effort to not want to kick the carp out of them. How did social services not spot this beggers belief.

Lorraine Kelly wrote (what I thought was quite a decent column) in the current bun that I read today. Now I know its a god awful paper but I do buy it with my normal paper on a Saturday to read her's and JC's take on the week.

As a Gas Engineer she compared the social services looking after Baby P with a Gas Engineer dealing with a potentially lethal boiler.

If I (and fellow engineers) has not spotted a dangerous boiler after 60 visits, alarm bells would ring, and someone would be accountable for a death resulting from a faulty appliance. Probably all that failed to notice a potentially lethat boiler.

What happens to members of Haringay council......... they refuse to apologise and 'on the face of it' appear to care neither.

Oh and David Cameron called baby P a girl as he was 'tired' :x

solitary confinement forever

How does this differ to the death penalty?

If those sub human scum don't get the maximum sentence available in law I think the nation will revolt.

For me this is one of the cornerstones of this society, appropriate punishment without letting people off. And seeing people get short sentences, or parole or not turning up after getting bail just says to every law abiding citizen ..... why bother?

What happens to members of Haringay council.........

it's weird that two comedians make a poor taste joke at the expense of a well respected older man, and one is sacked, the other suspended, and their controller resigns as a sign of respect - but the Harigay council chief, isn't even sure if she's sorry !!!!!

Unfortunately, while we retain our membership of the EU we can never restore the death penalty because EU laws make that impossible.

I support the death penalty for serious crimes, including murder, because it is just. Whether it costs more to execute a person than to incarcerate him or her (and I doubt this very much) matters not. Nor does the argument about whether or not the death penalty is a deterrent to others affect the question of justice.

Cases like this have many people crying out for retribution. But when the sentences are handed down, they will seen to be comparatively light. Those responsible were not charged with or found guilty of murder (impossible to prove).

There will be justice for these evil people, after they have died. We won't see justice that will satisfy most people in this country in the short term.

Meanwhile, justice should be done to the self-serving bureaucrats in Haringey who pretend that because they 'followed the procedures', they're not to blame.

Anyone who wants to ask the head of social services why she has not yet resigned can ask her: [email protected]

what a good post... although i disagree with this:

well they are now letting bendy bananas through... so they can change their minds on any rules !

15 pence each for a 9mm round v feeding 3 scumbags which is more cost effective and yes i would do it myself.
The front line social workers hands are effectively tied by the directives that come down on high. The main one seems to be from the chattering classes that its not nice to split up families so lets run the risk of something nasty happening which of course we'll all regret and have an enquiry and carry on in the same beknighted fashion trying to impose their values on people who don't want them and don't understand them.

It is indeed a sick, rancid world that we inhabit which allows such horrors to be perpetrated on an innocent, defenceless child.

Words fail me...

:(
