Why do you assume that I am left wing?

I have a muslim surname, I am not muslim. I am an atheist. I was christened as CoE. My father was born in the punjab. My mother is Irish. I was born in London. My stepfather is "white" English. I "identify" as English.

I see good and bad in all races and religions.

Not being a racist doesn't make me left wing... but I guess it is proof that I am not far right.

I can see why you would get upset at what you see as racism, but surely - if you are an intelligent person - you can acknowledge there is a problem with many muslims and other foreigners in Britain, and that this has a bad effect on decent immigrants as well as on us natives.

I guess that I am a native. I was born here over 50 years ago. I have only ever lived in the UK (read: London).

I do not understand why you seem to believe that all muslims are foreigners. One of my mates, Colin, is a pakistani born muslim. When I am working at his home, he will pop out and buy me a 4 pack of Kronenbourg. His 3 daughters were born here. Do you define them as being non "proper British"?

Sorry, I don't understand the rationale behind your point. At a guess, given that I drink in an Irish pub, about 25% of the people that I socialise with are "foreign". Should I carry a hammer in my rucksack just in case?

Ohhh, and my Irish born mother has lived (exclusively) in the UK since the early 60's. Should I regard her as being a foreigner? My English stepfather got together with my mum when I was 3- is he a race traitor?

I try to treat people as I find them. I do not automatically make assumptions based on their place of birth or their religion. I genuinely hope that one day you can do the same.

My of my favourite locals in the pub is Father Joe- I have never held him accountable for the sins of other Catholic priests.
