balancing CH system

I have tried to balance system by turning all lock shield valves down and openning one by one till they individually get fully hot.

however as soon as i get to the 4th or so radiator the rest go luke warm/ or in the case of the downstairs shower room-stone cold

i have tried this process twice - still the same.

its as if there isnt enough 'oomf' to handle all rad's?

any suggestions

Hi Merc,

when you say you re-open them do you mean fully??

what i tend to do is close them fully and then re-open them about a three quarter turn, thereby, slowing the pumping process through the system and allowing the rads to heat before the hot water has sloshed straight through.
