Theres only about 15m of 6mm swa under ground, could you change all the rest of it to a bigger cable, but leave the 6mm under ground are is that a no sorry if thats a stupid qustion? This qustion is for those who read my last post
uklad - basically take note of this:and stop d*****g around trying to make what you want to do work without putting in a larger cable, OK?That cable is far too small already, so you cannot use that for anything else.i have a 6mm swa running from my fuse box on a 50amp mcb with rcd about 60meters to the barn
As a minimum, you would want a new 25mm cable to replace the existing 6mm. The cable alone will be several hundred pounds.
ok will it be cheaper to run 25mm T&E in conduit where i can then 25mm swa for the under ground bit? Is that aloud?
Your only realistic option to avoid any more bodging is to ring a few sparks and get a few quotes.Am not doing it myself! I just wanna know what am askin for before i get sparky out and cheapest way todo it thanks for the help
