Hi peeps, my shower room light switch is starting to play up… light sometimes flickers and then either comes on, or goes off. Guessing switch is going to fail completely soon. It is on a pull cord and operates the ceiling light and an extractor fan simultaneously. Need to purchase a new one but not sure if à one-way or two-way. There are no other switches in the shower room. Thanks in anticipation, and all that.

Have a look inside, could also be a double pole.

If there are no other switches that control the light then it is a one way switch. You can replace it with a one way or two way switch. The latter will have three terminals, just make sure one wire is connected to C, the other can go to L1 or L2, it doesn't matter.
