BBC should think about the titles of news items

I'd like to see some BBC financial accounts if anyone can provide links, I'm finding it hard to find any figures.

Read your own link.

Settle down.

It might be that your sentence is not true. They invest the money, and they get tax back from donations from tax payers. So we don't quite know how much they get from donations, how much from tax back, how much from investments, and anything else. Well we might, but I couldn't be bothered to read through the accounts in full, I just skimmed through.

Well for 'idiots' like me, there's going to need to be more of an explanation than this. Where do you get your facts from? What accounts? Where?

I just read your link, which says "As per the BBC Children in Need promise; for every penny we receive in donations, a penny will go to a project that we support."
and
"While we wait to release the funds, we invest them in low-risk investments to generate more money, which goes towards the running of the Charity. This income, along with Gift Aid and our trading income (from our sales of official merchandise and events) go towards the Charity’s running costs."

'While we wait to release the funds' - How long do the BBC wait before releasing the funds? Why?

'Go towards the Charity's running costs' - Do these running costs include the salaries paid to the directors of the charities? How much are these directors paid?

Stop asking awkward questions. Of course the hub of British kiddyfiddling doesn't fiddle money. Next you'll be suggesting they pander to minorities who produce terrorists.

I wouldn't dare. I'd be accused of racism, and you can imagine how much that would hurt.

Whilst watching an episode of The Hotel Inspector yesterday there was an advert appealing for £3 to help children get clean water. I'd love to help were it not for a few issues:
1/. How much did the TV channel charge for the ad?
2/. I'd be charged a "standard" text whilst donating
3/. More importantly, although this view might be abhorrent, I'd rather pay for contributions towards birth control. If the request for £3 was upped to £20 and guaranteed to include the snip for a child within such third world countries in the long term interest, then I'd text that number regularly.

What is from the f'king like I posted ? Goddamed dunderhead.

I'm happy to admit my stoopidity here. If I said that if someone gives me a pound and I pass that pound on to someone needy (possibly after a while having invested it to cover my overheads) then I'm struggling to see why I should be viewed as immoral or greedy.

Remember the ads showing a young girl that had to walk for 3 hrs to get water then carry it back to the village.
The village was nothing more than mud huts with corrugated roofs, so why don't they move the village closer to the waterhole?

FFS don't wake up the elephant in the room. ;)

I have plenty of sperm within me. I have lust and desires for many women. However, I also have a limited budget and a degree of self control. That is why I haven't got a shed load of unsupported (financially, emotionally nor intellectually) offspring. That is the point.

Why not put it to good use and go to a sperm bank and get PAID to have a quick five finger shuffle? That'll take care of the lust.

I took my quilt and got £400 for it :)
