The speed at which the EU have signed off on this deal tells you everything. They maintained the CU and SM and their trade surplus in goods.

There all desperate to get home for the new year booze up

And worried about getting locked down

Romanian contingent are desperate to get out of town all there motors are loaded up ;)

The deal does cover services.

Or, as the EU says

"What about the equivalence decisions on financial services?

The Agreement does not include any elements pertaining to equivalence frameworks for financial services. These are unilateral decisions of each party and are not subject to negotiation."

https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/qanda_20_2532

"The Commission has assessed the UK's replies to the Commission's equivalence questionnaires in 28 areas. A series of further clarifications will be needed, in particular regarding how the UK will diverge from EU frameworks after 31 December, how it will use its supervisory discretion regarding EU firms and how the UK's temporary regimes will affect EU firms. For these reasons, the Commission cannot finalise its assessment of the UK's equivalence in the 28 areas and therefore will not take decisions at this point in time. The assessments will continue. The Commission has taken note of the UK's equivalence decisions announced in November, adopted in the UK's interest. Similarly, the EU will consider equivalence when they are in the EU's interest."

It will. All. Get sorted in time

Might take a decade or two

But hey ho

Transam gives not a jot

We need to stop this route to Citizenship. Too many people have come here and taken advantage of this. Heck, we even had ILR on entry in the 90s and look at what those people have done. 11 kids who went on to being school leavers and then creating gangs and claiming yet more benefits like their parents.
I prefer the Middle-East style - you can stay here as long as you have a job.

Migration observatory proves you wrong.

Freedom of movement from EU has been a net benefit.

Define 'taken advantage of', and also define 'too many'...

Wrong!

ILR was only granted after 2 years scrutiny...

But hey, why bother with the facts if it doesn't suit the xenophobic/racist viewpoint

When you landed at Heathrow, your foreign passport was stamped with the ILR visa from what I hear.

LOOOOOOOOOOL
Is that why they dragged the standard of our society down to the level they have in their countries?

I will shortly be opening a thread regarding why I voted Brexit. You can then see how this free movement has benefitted us ( sarcasm )

You are most welcome to put forward your opinions.

Just prepare yourself to be disappointed when you find out you are wrong.

Correct, as shown by ALL economists. Gullible brexers - try not to confuse free movement with other migratory instances (legal or illegal) or countries outside of the EU.(y)

The UK has been doing really well while this has been going on. Why are holidays abroad more expensive? USD hasn't done too well either

LOL Most of the right wing think tanks are USA based. Look what a wonderful job they have been doing.

:) Look forwards to further "improvements" as the dust settles.
