Yes, they were as golden balls Cameron and George didn't have a majority. As soon as they had a majority in the next election, they jettisoned the LibDems.

They were never important. Not big enough to win a general election by themselves but small enough to make a coalition like DUP

There is no automatic recognition a UK court's judgements in the EU. So now if we get a judgment in a British court we will need to spend several more years in a Member State court for a exequatur judgement to be able to enforce the first judgement against an EU defendant.

The irony is that this deal keeps the EU export surplus to the UK. We have traded our best negotiation gambits for this. Now we want to discuss a deal for services - what can we offer that's left other than further integration.
