Just great.

There is no automatic recognition a UK court's judgements in the EU. So now if we get a judgment in a British court we will need to spend several more years in a Member State court for a exequatur judgement to be able to enforce the first judgement against an EU defendant.

You don't get it do you. Clients will just decide to use EU lawyers and the UK loses out on billable hours and revenue.

You only made the UK poorer - own it lad.

The UK didn't want to be in a rulings recognition scheme with European courts.

So what you describe is what the brexers wanted.

Mottie doesn't care.

The irony is that this deal keeps the EU export surplus to the UK. We have traded our best negotiation gambits for this. Now we want to discuss a deal for services - what can we offer that's left other than further integration.
