Hi everyone the previous owner of my house installed a bodged extractor fan how do I install a new one correctly, the current fan works but is not screwed into the tiles on the inside of bathroom and it seems to push air into a cavity in the bricks there is no tube, also the outside is an air Rick not the proper extractor fan flaps? Any help would be much appreciated thank you
Not a builder sorry, but at a quess you could CAREFULLY whack it out put in a solid fan pipe which is roughly 100mm or so that the fan slips inside, brick up and make good round the pipe, taking care not to drop the muck down the wall cavity
