We've just had a Megaflo 300i cylinder and Worcester 30cdi system boiler installed. We tend to have showers in the morning and sometimes a shower/bath in the evening.

What timer settings would you recommend for our boiler in order to give a decent supply of hot water? (we have a timer that allows 3 on/off times per day).

Thanks! :)

...and is it best to set it so the hot water and heating times don't overlap or can the boiler supply both simultaneously?

Interesting, just received this response from the technical dept at Heatrae:

"The reheat time for the cylinder is approx 30 mins with this type of boiler, I would recommend the hot water is set to come on for 1 hour to ensure fully heated a couple of times a day the opposite time to when the central heating is operating."

Presumably they say this to ensure the max energy is sent the way of the cylinder?
