Simple answer..........Own cats instead.
They're so easy to manage bless 'em !
No fighting over bones...... and with the added bonus of zero cleaning up crap off your own lawn........ thats someone else's problem !
They're great.....I'm gonna get half a dozen at least....

We have a cat too that's not keen on the big dog. Can get a little painful if you're holding her when big dog turns up
