I have a single lug type bosch jigsaw and want to know the best blade to use for cutting 40mm laminate worktop.

The T101BR downcutting blade has been mentioned in these forums but i dont know if it can cut up to 40mm.

Can anyone tell me the best blade to buy for this saw type for 40mm laminate?

All advice greatly appreciated

It can. Alternatively mark and cut from the underside with a fine-tooth upcut blade. Helps if you drill out the corners first an "join up the dots" so to speak

Remember to put more pressure on the jigsaw otherwise the jigsaw will bounce up

and go nice and slow as the blade will have a tendency to curve if you push forward too much, giving a sloping cut downwards (if that makes sense!)
