Brexit

Let us see if we can clear up this misunderstanding:

Roger claims that Michelle Barnier wants NI to be aligned with EU
However there is no support for his claim in the quotes provided.

It is clearly not a case of 'want', but a case of need. That is what TM agreed to as a backstop in December in order to progress to the next stage.
Now the responsibility is for UK to come up with a credible solution to avoid the fall back to the backstop position
So far, only a wish list from TM. But she has a very high wire act to attempt between DUP, Ireland, Remainers, Brexiteer and EU, and of course the fickle UK MPs. Equivalent to, perhaps, a trapeze multiple somersault, landing on a tightrope (supported by sky hooks), while throwing knives at a revolving target, and telling jokes at the same time.
And she volounteered for the job.

It will be now subject to negotiation, but we have already seen Ireland doubt the suggested proposal.

Then there is Gibraltar ;)
Spain will probably be even more difficult.
Don't know why TM doesn't tell Barnier an co to F**k off, probably because she is too British, after America who is the biggest player in NATO ,maybe Putin should be brought in to mediate.

Corbyn also has a problem with his party ;) he has always been a euro sceptic

plus he has anti EU MP's in his own party and the fact that plenty of Labour voters / party members voted for Brexit ;) in particular those oomp north

and one assumes (??) that he is a believer in democracy ?? :)

That will be a resounding NO, then.

There is nowhere in that box that explains what brexit really means. Nor is there anywhere in that box that says 'should you vote brexit under a Tory leadership, you will end up with more questions than answers and a government unable to deliver the successful removal of the UK from EU'.

Dumb quitters. They have got what they deserve.

Why do you believe that the UK would be better off staying in the EU.

And good job too.
If that had been allowed the remoaner camp would have had the ballot paper filled full of their scare mongering propaganda.

Because the closer we come to the alternative the worse it seems to get. Brexit is looking horrible at present.

Initially though, I like anyone else, believe what is being written in the mainstream media. There is no positive (main stream media) Brexit reporting. None.

"I like anyone else ect ??????????

speak for your self ;) not every one else ;)

Vinty, where do you want the new border controls to be?

Gone are the days when someone could justify that the Tories are concerned only with the interests of Bankers, yup.

Nozzle
Before you go down that road, the Tories themselves warned the EU we would become a tax haven (we are already but even more so). So if the bankers lose passporting rights I suspect it's quid pro quo and they will expect something in return. Let's not forget Mr May is a banker who has a vested interest in the reforms for paying social care for the elderly.
