Ever since I can recall, carpets in my cars have been difficult to brush clean. Bits stick to them like glue. Takes ages to vacuum or brush off. Has anyone discovered a solution?

Unfortunately, the cheaper the carpet, the more difficult it is to clean.

I want to buy a replacement for ours that has a nice deep pile; they seem to be the easiest to vacuum and use a carpet cleaner on.

I have a car that came with removable rugs, with eyelets that hook onto retainers in the floor. They do tend to hold the dirt, and the drivers one wears badly.

But I hear carpet fitters, especially with a workshop, can cut rugs or mats to size and shape and bind the edges. You might have one local, or look online

For some cars, you can buy them readimade off the shelf.

p.s.
and I have a set of rubber mats in the boot
