Budget

Apparently new additions youngsters (?) school leavers ?? to the work place are not now going to get full workers rights from day one un fair dismissal etc

Another u turn from sir kiers manifesto ??

Jeez us seems like this manefesto was a total scam
This is notches fabled "workers increased rights under labour"
It was a totally stupid idea anyway - giving workers full rights at day one on the job

The income tax rate on interest (post-allowance and non-ISA) has gone up in the budget also.
Hard not to see it as a personal affront isn't it... especially when she uses that horrible assertive tone. I only like her when she cries. Lol

Labour need to be ousted.
I think most Labour supporter will be wondering why another political party never thought of it first.
I think most labour supporters will be wondering why they ever voted for labour after they went back on all of the promises and did a big giant turd on the nation!!!

Im reading the details being sent to me.

You do understand EV's don't pay fuel duty, all other cars do. It's different to road taxation

Probably the best way for now

If you don't understand it, then you don't understand how it won't affect all cars.

You know more than me apparantly, so you go find out for yourself.
And still you don’t

What do people think about investing 12k in a cash ISA and 8k in a share ISA.
Not sure I’d bother splitting it

You can easily mimic cash investments via bond stocks.

Smaller investments aren’t efficient so instead of say 12k in an ISA and 8k in a tracker I’d put the whole 20 in a stock ISA with 12k in bond etf and say 8k in Lon:midd. (FTSE 250)

Personally I’d avoid over exposure to the U.K.

I don’t support full day 1 rights, never have.

Overall I think it’s correct for stronger workers rights because we’ve had 40 years of them being weakened.

Getting the balance right is hard, big businesses sometimes treat staff like sh1t (Amazon warehouses, Sports Direct etc), Given the chance employers exploit. At the same time Unions try to exploit too, it’s never easy

I’ve employed dozens of people over the years and sacked quite a few, given warnings to others. It’s a nightmare employing people, it’s like having to be a schoolteacher. Staff can behave like children the silly little squabbles they have are unreal.

Still got to wait for Mrs Mottie to catch me up. Just £12k for her. And we've got a HEV, not a full or plug-in. Double win for me.
So you still pay a bit on fuel duty.

Hence the difference between EV and non.

I do think this move might push a few more to hev too
