Builder or strutter?

I wonder if women are repulsed at seeing women at it the same way as men find 2 men at it disgusting ?
No. All women are bi-sexual.

It's either because we're gossiping or planning our escape route.

Damn, that's no fun at all! Sorry :-)

You lot need to sit down & chat with a top flight advertising executive to fully understand what advertising is all about !

You just do not understand the irony of "talking" about it, even if you do find it annoying :)
Advertising = selling. It's not rocket science, been going on for some years now.

dont watch more than a few seconds off adverts
i record all tv i want to watch except some bbc and the few seconds off adverts is a compromise between missing a bit off the program and no adverts or a few seconds off adverts as the zip through is in 30 second steps

Trying to read your punctuation-free post makes me think that there is one 70s advert you must have watched all the way through. It certainly reminded me of the ad. :D;);)

That advert causes me to instantly change channel .The 118 118 pair of idiots has same effect. How on earth those in the know have decided that those nauseous adverts make people use their services is beyond me.But then again many many aspects of human nature are beyond my dicky mint!!.

Trouble is these days, anything goes, & what most people would find disgusting & abnormal is now being normalised.

Jesus. You wanna get out more if you think that cross-dressing is disgusting and abnormal.

If you are causing physical or mental hurt to another creature, that is wrong. If not, what's the problem?

What are you worried will happen if "what most people would find disgusting & abnormal is now being normalised"?

Have to disagree with you there SS.

If most people thinking something is wrong is not the definer, then where do you draw the line?

I see what you're saying. Physical or mental hurt is wrong. So, obviously, assault, torture, murder, abuse, etcetera is wrong.

But when it comes to other stuff is it actually wrong?

("wrong" meaning not considered to be morally acceptable or suitable or
socially acceptable or suitable by most people)

Or is it just not tolerated (not considered to be morally acceptable or suitable or socially acceptable or suitable) by some people?

Leading by example is an important part of the matter. Very few people smoke in plays on TV, screen writers were asked to not include smoking in their scripts and ( it is claimed ) fewer people start smoking as a result. Skinny models are frowned upon becasue youngsters wil try and copy them and become anorexic along with other medical condtions caused by extreme dieting.

How long before some attention seekers adopt that stye of dress and posture, "saw it on TV it must be good"

Yes that gyrating bloke ad is grotesque. In fact I'm going to email Moneysupermarket.com and tell them.

I work in an industry not too far from Alpecin shampoo and I can tell you that the product will contain the tiniest whiff of caffeine, about as much as a teaspoon in a swimming pool, enough to justify the label claims. The only benefit is in consumers' minds

Yes indeed. Might I suggest Hebden Bridge on a Friday night?

What' s starting to worry me is that I'm working on a job where a couple of the builders are, well, like the builders in the advert.....
