Building control/regs

bc/regs say that you must be able to park 2 cars on my property 1 in the garage 1 on the drive,thing is my car is a mpv even if i empty the garage dont think it would fit but my daughters fiesta would so how do they determine what size a car is.

Its planning that require this.

Nothing to do with Building regs .

A parking space is normally seen as being 4800 x 2400 , but imho this does need increasing

Correct if i'm wrong but don't Highways/Planning ask for a 2.5m x 5m parking bay?
