So, you agree, your EV means that a simple, spontaneous trip out, on a nice day, means it requires the planning of a military campaign, versus just jumping in a ICE, without any planning needed?
It really doesn't! (Especially if you have your own "petrol pump" on your drive). I just get in mine and drive it. If the battery gets low, I pull into a charging area and charge. It's really not that hard!

I've never found the need for a petrol/diesel pump in my drive. I have a pump just 1/4 mile away, and such is the fuel range, I could nip to the other end of the country, to instantly refuel, and absolutely no planning necessary.
