Hi All
I have just bought a new cooker and got an electrician over to connect it up, only to be told that I need a 6mm circuit from the consumer unit as the cooker is a higher rating.
No probs with that but I am unsure of his suggestions to get the cable to this location. The floor is solid and the ceiling is a no no, so he is proposing the cable is run around the room behind the plinths at floor level, unprotected.
Would this be okay or should I get another electrician??
Thanks in advance for your opinions
Cheers
