cable size again!

putting in a new for old built in cooker, old one was wired up normal cooker plug socket, what size wire can i use for up to 3.5 kw 15 amp 240v, which is best cable size? 4.0m or 6.0m? in different position in kitchen, ta for help deano
 
What sort of appliance is this?

What rating is the circuit protective device (fuse/mcb)

Is there anything else connected to the same circuit? (hob? oven? particle accelerator etc)

If you are installing a new cooker circuit go for 6mm² , your 3.5Kw load though, in 95% of situations will need nothing bigger than 2.5²
