Calibrating a Texe impaq without the wintex ?

Hello,
I'm the process of setting up an hybrid alarm system (wireless and wired). I'm very interested in the Impaq+magnetic contact.
However, looking at the installation manual, it seems the detector has to be hooked up to a Texe system to be calibrated.
Is there anyway to get around this ? Or do I set the alarm on, wihtout the siren of course and calibrate little by little, seeing as the alram is set off ?

Also, if anyone has a link to the install manual of the viper glx, I'd be grateful (for comparison purposes, it's second on my list)

If its wireless it needs to be put into walk test for the led to show

adjust the sensitivity and test again until is right
